Northeast Automotive

It's hard to find a mechanic that I feel like I can trust and doesn't talk to me like a child just because I'm a women, this place is seriously the BEST! They are so nice, so easy to work with and I feel like they always take good care of my car! I went in for rear brakes, they called with the estimate and told me that my front brakes were showing some wear and tear but they were under warranty from when they redid them a couple years ago so they fixed them up for free! They could have easily not said anything about the front brakes and I would have no idea, instead they put in another $337 worth of labor and parts for free. If that doesn't tell you how trustworthy these guys are! Not to mention they did an oil change for me at the same time and reset my service reminder in my car for me, it's the little things! Could not be more happy to have these guys around to take care of my car and I hope they stay in business for years to come! Won't go anywhere else!

I called up Northeast Automotive after finding numerous recommendations on the r/GrandRapids group on Reddit. I got a quote over the phone in minutes (timing belt kit), brought my car in, and it was finished the same day. Very fair prices, and clearly skilled mechanics. The stellar reputation is well deserved. I will certainly be back.

Thanks Cody for going above and beyond to help us with our car! You're a good guy, we appreciate everything you're doing to make sure we have the best option for our car. We'll definitely be coming back to Northeast Automotive.

I wish I could give them 6 stars! I have been going to Northeast Automotive for about 7 or 8 years now and have always had great experiences. They are honest, fair, and don't push things on the customers. They have a family business feel and have even helped me out when I was in a pinch on the roadside! Thank you Paula, Cliff, Cody, Kevin, and everyone else whose names I don't know!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Every employee is incredibly helpful, nice, they explain everything to you so you understand exactly what’s broken and why things need to be fixed/replaced. The price is the best in town for the most quality work you will find around! Kevin and Cody are both extremely helpful. As a young women this shop never tries to take advantage of me and upcharge or upsell anything to me. They listen to what I have to say and never undermine you. I avoided auto shops until this one. In the last six weeks I’ve been there five different times to have things fixed/replaced and have been able to get two of my cars back to normal again!
